Coalition Coordinator

Our new Pasco Discovery Coalition Coordinator is Julissa Aranda-Crow

Hi, my name is Julissa (Who-lisa) Crow and I am excited to work as the Community Coordinator in my home town of Pasco.  Many of you do not know about the Pasco Discovery Coalition so let me tell you a little about who we are.  The Pasco Discovery Coalition was founded in 2010 due to sate dollars that were given to different communities throughout the state who's youth reported heavy underage drinking and other drug use through a bi annually Healthy Youth Survey.  The Pasco Discovery Coalition relies heavily on Community Partners, not for funds but for your creative ideas, volunteers and the heart needed to help our community in need.  In order for Pasco to maintain our funding through the state we must have different sectors in the community represented on our Executive Committee.  These sectors include:  youth, parents, business, law enforcement, Civic/Volunteer group, healthcare professional, media, school, youth serving organizations, religious/fraternal organization, state/local/tribal governments, other substance abuse organizations, chemical dependency treatment, and mental health services.  The Pasco Community has a lot to do this year and we need your help!  Monthly meetings are held at Ochoa Middle School (1801 E. Sheppard St., Pasco, WA 99301) on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm.  Please contact me, Julissa Crow for more information at (509)851-7140 or
